Holiday plans!

Well, to begin with these are only plans and I'll have to work to earn cash to go and have fun (eventually). Dad's only saying yes to paying the plane tickets but other expenditures will be entirely on yours truly which defeats the purpose of holiday-ing.

My good friend, Najwa is studying in Monash and I have a cousin family who lives somewhere close too.. it'll be fun to soak in the sun.. but I was told it will be cold in June. Oh my god, cold weather! Anything to avoid the tropical heat to tell you the truth. I've never experienced cold weather before, aside from Hong Kong (I was five so it did not count). Getting excited aren't we?

I wanna party the Melbourne way! Boo Dad, boo...... I'll be 21 this year too. ):

Mid-June, maybe.. if I have money

Moving on to my August plan if Melbourne doesn't happen. I'm more keen on going to Japan because of reasons... If you know me well, I love Japanese culture, the language and some other stuff I'd rather not elaborate. My super good friend, Melle is studying in Tokyo and it will be the perfect place to spend a whole week at!

She's been yapping non stop, asking me to go and visit her. I mean, yeah I'd love some nihon but Yen is not kind to Malaysian Ringgit. Everything is so expensive in Tokyo! I would like to splurge the Tokyo way. If I could do a pros and cons of travelling to either one of the countries, Japan will win.

August!

Demo-sa.. (But, you know..) it all comes back to the main problem where I don't have money. If I do work, yeah, maybe? I won't be able to do everything because of the budget constraint. It wouldn't be fun at all.

If not this year, maybe next? I'll be sure to come and visit during sakura week where sakura trees blossom all over Japan. Melle sent me a couple of photos and they're lovely.

Sometimes I curse the existence of Twitter because I see live updates at where I'm not physically capable of going.

Until next time.

Ritual

Strange ennui
Voicing out thoughts
You never knew existed

Dark timbers
Created shadows
Hiding you
From terrors this world offered

Vines making signs
Mapping your soul
Into the realms of the unknown
Marking
Tampering reality

End.

Dawn

6:00 AM

Why am I up so early?

That's because I have not slept a wink. I had a long nap and a restless evening with the warm weather Segamat is having. I miss the cold and by cold I meant rain or air conditioned rooms since my hostel won't ever be having any. Clearly the only sane thing to do so early in the morning is by typing away your woes.

Two tests over the weekend where Costing and Taxation created WWII with my brains and Audit on Tuesday tested my sanity. I find it amazing to be scoring a mean A for Taxation (thank you Prof, you're kind despite slandering away how my class fails to reach your expectation). Miza, the super overachiever is back after the first set of tests were not being kind to her. I do plan to get my Dean's List for this final semester. Last year's GPA don't cut it for me. Never mind that I won't be getting the uni's VC Award, what's important is the present and I plan to make use of this study break to do some epic studying. That involves "La Femme Nikita" and "Teen Wolf" marathon.

The last day of class for Diploma of Accountancy is today at 10am. Should I be sad? Yes. But, am I? Not yet. I will cry my eyes out during the last paper of finals on the 10th though but for now I'm excited! After 3 years of studying 3 hours away from home, living away from home, eating away from home... I'm finally ending this! Sadly, parting ways with friends whom most live in Johore while others and myself live in Selangor or Kuala Lumpur is kind of sad. You will never know when we could meet up again unless we were bound to see each other during Bachelors, that is if we would be in the same campus.

To cut things short, here are some photos from this week's and last week's dinners :

Pre-Graduation Night

More or less a protocol dinner where everyone goes by the code of conduct, same old same old. Good old goofball, Prof Samad (the rector of UiTM) gave cash to the lucky draw winners. Big chunks of cash! with three figures okay, which is unheard of. I have a bad ong and wasn't so lucky to win any.

Classmates. Some.

Maryam, Seet and Lion. They tried.

Accounting Appreciation Night

Honest assessment. Worst dinner I've ever attended and the only reason I enjoyed it is because I was among friends. We made shit turned golden. Always.

Urfah, Maryam and Ain - fellow Shah Alam(s)

and again, we're being Glee-sy and predictable

Class is in 3 hours. I should try to get some sleep.
